I don't understand guys! They are confusing and I hate it.

I feel as if I'm not welcome at UWEC. I'm a super nice guy, but I'm having so much trouble making good friends here. Pretty much all there is to do here is party. I feel like that in order to be accepted, you have to make poor choices like binge drinking, doing drugs, or sleeping around. This past semester was a complete nightmare. I've never felt this lonely before. All I want next semester is a good group of friends who will be a positive influence and includes me in things. And, of course, a girlfriend.

I can't wait to study abroad next year. The worst part of my winter break so far is the knowledge that I have to come back next semester. After leaving the country, I'm transferring straight to another school and never looking back.

I studied abroad this semester and made really good friends with the Eau Claire students that studied at the same campus as me, but I'm worried they won't be interested in hanging out with me when we're back in Eau Claire.
