I've been feeling sick on and off for a while now and I just feel like it's screwing everything up, especially plans.....it makes me feel worse when I have to cancel plans when I suddenly feel sick again. So tired of it..

I'm a little nervous about this semester and it hasn't started yet. I know I'll be okay,but I'm still a little nervous. Anyone feel the same way?

First class tomorrow is in the Centennial Hall... probably gonna get lost.

I know I'm a fun person to hang out with but it's so hard for me to introduce myself to people I know I'd have a good time with because it feels ao awkward! It seems like everyone already has close friends. New to the dorms people and looking for some crazy bitches and some awesome guys to hang out with! ;D

I can't wait for The Lookout to be open this weekend so I can meet new people...on the dance floor

After many years maybe, just maybe, this'll be the semester I finally find a girlfriend... More than likely not, but may as well stay hopeful!!

It's awful being single and not having any venues to meet the type of people you're looking for. It's even worse when people you don't know make you all kinds of uncomfortable and you'd just rather be alone or hanging with the few people you already broke those barriers with. I don't really know what to do about this. I tried counseling to overcome social issues (but they're pretty deeply ingrained) I've tried dating sites to break the ice, but the people aren't as willing to give you a chance if you don't somehow wow them on the first impression.

I don't expect to get a lot of responses. Maybe a few explaining how I should change how I am and maybe a few jokes from people who clearly don't understand.. But if there's someone (I'm a guy looking for a female, but wouldn't mind making male friends either) who likes some of the same stuff I do (anime, video games, science fiction/fantasy, etc) and wants to try making a connection, like this or leave an appropriate comment and I'll send you a message (just be sure to check your other folder). Looking to make a good connection, not just another friend on a list that I see more status updates about them than the person themselves. Thanks
