The career conference on campus was a load of shit. They should call it a business major internship event, cuz that's what it really is. You're an english major? Sorry no publishers or editing firms want to come to UWEC. Science major? Oh we have four groups looking to give you an internship. OH you wanted a paid internship. Tough titties then. I understand that corporations have money to through around, but the UWEC staff could at least try to give more opportunities to the massive amount of science majors on this campus. Everyone talks about how hard it is to be a business major, but when I see events like this, and when the on campus business fraternity used grant money to host event with underage drinking...well I can't really see where the difficult part comes in. There's a reason why there are science classes for non science majors, because that shit is hard and if you aren't good at it you will do poorly. I can use a calculator (accounting) and I can sling bullshit (marketing and sales). I'd like to see a business major try and do anything with DNA replication, chemical synthesis, or even freaking trying to find the force of acceleration of an object falling from a building (hint, its a universal constant).

It is so hard having feelings for a guy you are good friends with :( hearing him talk about other girls and how hot they are and you may not measure up or knowing he is going on dates with other girls. So guys...if yoj jab a close friend that is a girl...maybe give her a chance because she might just be too afraid to say anything...but is really hurt is inside.

After getting kicked out of school for a variety of incidents, my now ex roommate still attempts to contact me every day. She's shown up at my house on multiple occasions. She constantly calls me and knows my daily schedule. When she does call, our conversations are creepy as fuck! She's already shown up at my dorm multiple times. Thankfully, I recently got my combination changed, but it stills creeps me out knowing that she's that close to where I am. I feel the only way to solve my problem is to get a restraining order. I never thought I roommate could cause this many issues...

my roommate makes me so uncomfortable in my own room. She's super moody and cranky. when she's in a bad mood (which is most days)she wont talk to me unless shes bitching about something and I have to walk around egg shells around her. im getting realy sick of it but Im too afraid to talk to her about it because I hate confrontation. any suggestions?
