With all of these posts about people making fun of bigger people at the gym, I'm getting a little nervous. I'm a bigger girl who recently got a gym pass at McPhee in order to get in better shape and actually train for a 5K. I already felt a little out of place there with all of the fit people, especially when running on the treadmill! I feel like they look at me different and wonder what I'm even doing there! Shouldn't they be supportive that I'm trying to make a lifestyle change? This is a reason why I was worried about getting a gym pass on campus. If one of you people who look at bigger people like me and make fun of them at the gym are reading this post, please think twice the next time you make a rude comment. I actually look up to fit people like you and strive to get fit myself so it would help if you would support us instead of make fun of us..

Shout out to the gentlemen of govs. The valentines literally brightened my day so much. Thank you for watching out for all your ladies. We appreciate it more than you will ever know! :)
