This is going to sound insane I know, but I'm a guy who isn't interested in sex. What I want is a nice girl to talk to and get to know a bit. Maybe do it over a dinner date or even just a casual hangout. Ever since I came here in the fall, I haven't had any luck with the ladies, or just making friends in general. It's hard for an introverted person like me to break the ice and get the ball rolling when it comes to things like that. It doesn't help that whenever I'm on campus I completely immerse myself into class or other school related work and I never really take the time to show my casual side. To put it in perspective, imagine knowing all about the things to say and do to gather interest from people and never getting the chance to do it because you always make yourself seem too busy. It seems to me that nobody wants to take the time to get to know someone if they seem completely uninterested in doing things besides hitting the books and talking about schoolwork. I've thought about blind dating, but that doesn't seem like it would go too well for somebody like me. Just a casual date and getting a chance to show how down to earth I can be would make me feel like I'm not the completely unapproachable person I portray myself to be on campus.
