To the comment about parents being laid off and FAFSA stuff. I've been in the situation where my parents have been laid off (in high school). It's a very difficult and stressful time. I understand that. But you can't tell me you weren't the least bit happy that you got so much Financial Aid. Why is there a difference in the amount of Financial Aid I receive when I'm paying for school all on my own. If my parents are working and earn a combined income of $60,000 or more--I get the 2 main loans. If my parents are laid off--I get the 2 main loans, work study, and grants. Why should it matter if I'm still paying it all on my own. I hate that the government just assumes parents help, it's a hard time still, and no my parents don't even have $500 they could give me let alone $7000 (which FAFSA was my estimated family contribution).

you think it's funny when the water street bus doesn't stop and goes right past our bus stop? fuck you guys, because it's actually shit. having to wait for another bus makes us freeze our asses off AND we end up late for class. it sucks!!!
