To the person who wrote the confession that they're unhappy being single, I understand how you feel, but there's something you should consider. Ever since my last relationship ended, I've been learning that it's okay to feel lonely sometimes, but it's also important to realize that you (and only you) are in charge of your own happiness. One of the best things about being single is that it gives you a chance to put yourself first and do the things that make YOU happy without having to sacrifice that for someone else. No relationship is perfect, and no person is perfect - not even someone who seems perfect for you. Even someone who seems perfect for you will let you down sometimes, and those times won't be easy, especially if you depend on that person to make you happy, rather than depending on yourself. So if you can't make yourself happy while you're single, how can you expect to be happy in an relationship? If you can find a way to be happy while you're single, it'll be easier to have a happy relationship when you meet the right person. I know it's easier said than done, but it's worth a try.

Props to you for wanting to make a woman "unfathomably happy" though. You sound like one of the good people out there! :)

I'm sick of all of these girls whining about how they got screwed over by a guy. No, seriously you had sex before you were in a relationship don't be surprised when a guy just uses you for sex. It's no one else's fault but your own. If you can't keep your legs shut that's no one else's problem.

My idea of torture is being tied to that big pole in front of Centennial and having to listen to those doors squeak ALL DAMN DAY.

So why are we giving so much money to all these arts and music people? Do they honestly think they are going to get a job with that? How bout instead of building this confluence project for them, we put that money to good use where it will actually make a difference.
