We are having our struggles, our own drama, and our own life. Life is never clean. Although some people may fool you, everyone has something. It’s interesting to think of the effort we make to build walls, to not let anything seep through. Speaking for myself, to not make anyone uncomfortable or feel burdened by your mess of a life. But in the end, we all have our own burdens, dirty laundry, a garden to be tended to.
Why is it so hard to just speak the truth? To be kind? To love wholeheartedly? Maybe it’s because at the end of the day, we all have a motive. We all have something in it for ourselves, otherwise how will it sustain our attention span, our interest? It’s always “what’s in it for me?”
Not only that, but we all have our own limits. What we will put up with, what inconveniences us? What is it about our need for immediate gratification? Why are we made to want that? What happened to sacrifice?
In the end though, sacrifice is one of the most risky things, because everyone has a free will to do as they please. People will betray majority of the time; the remaining percentage doesn’t take the risk. Or even slimmer of a chance, you come out as the lucky one who finds someone that’s 100% right back. For those with that slim chance, don’t mess it up! It comes every once in a blue moon.
