I'm Native American and it truly bothers me when people wear cheif, warrior, or ritualistic headdresses. I know why you'd want to, hell yea they're cool. But sadly, you didn't earn your feathers, beads, and skins. There is a deep meaning behind them and it's a little disrespectful. Sadly, no one even knows the meaning behind them anymore so they have no idea that they are potentially making a lot of people mad. You don't like when people burn the American flag, so don't disrespect the headdress or my heritage.

I have an ex who I tried being FWB with but I just fell more and more in love with him as we became close and hung out at least twice a week, bonded over TV shows and pretty much had a blast. And then he started taking girls to places with his fraternity (I'm not involved in greek life) and told me not to get emotional about it. I went on a few dates with a few guys but they meant nothing and were just to get over him--which didn't help at all--and when I told him about them he was livid. I don't know how to get over him, it's so hard. I wish we could be more than just FWB but I know that he's not ready for that kind of commitment. I feel like an idiot too. All my friends say I'm way too good for him and I find it hard to believe, but I can kind of see it. What should I do?
