I've lived all over Texas throughout my life. El Paso, Odessa, Amarillo, Lubbock, Houston, Austin, Mckinney, and now I'm in Denton. Out of all those places, Austin and Denton are the only places I could actually call nice. Very little overly conservative hypocracy, very few over compensating rednecks in the huge trucks and of course, music. The downside? Hipsters, but I'll take them over the god damn rednecks any day.

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years. We've been together since sophomore year in high school and just finished our first year at UNT. We've have our problems and our most recent fight was my fault and that fight got out of hand and ended with us breaking up. He broke up with me on our 3 year anniversary to be exact. Perfect day to get in a fight.. Well a month has passed and first his reason for not wanting to get back together and work things out was because he thinks I won't change the things about me that he doesn't like. After countless times I told him I'd change my ways to be with him, his next reason was I just don't want to be in a relationship, now I'm telling him our relationship doesn't have to be as serious like before (living together, doing everything together) and can be more casual (not living together, doing our own thing, and seeing each maybe once or twice a week til he's ready to be a little more serious) basically I'm trying every way I can to at least not throw away our relationship and accommodate him as much as possible. Now even after I've offered to change our relationship drastically from a serious one to a casual one with no stress or big commitment or worries, he said how does he know what love is if he's only been with me. That he needs to experience other relationships before he can know if I'm the one for him. Wtf is that supposed to mean?! He's been with me 3 years and has told me everyday at least 10 times a day that he loves me and has told me how much I mean to him and that he loves me forever and always and even bought me a $900 promise ring and now you don't know what love is? Just because I'm the only serious relationship he's been with now he's using that as an excuse to say how can he know what love is if he's only been with me and that he needs to have other relationships to compare me with to really know if I'm the one for him. This is some straight up bs if you ask me!! What do you guys think?

I'm moving to Denton this Fall since I got tired of wasting time comuting 2 hours everyday, which hits the gas tank hard, and having to adhere to a strict home by 11pm curfew from my parents. I'm worried that among time taken from full time classes, studying and sleep, when I work I'll either work too much and not have any time for friends, or work too little and not have enough to make rent/food/etc although my rent will only be $530. Any advise?

I regret going to college. I worked, got scholarships, participated in extracuriculars, got good grades, and here I am five months later. Nearly $30,000 in debt, no job, and wondering if college was really worth it. Is my life worth more than $30,000? At this point, I dont think it is.

Are their any other religious organizations besides Christians ones? Specifically a Hindu one?
