In the three years I've been at UNT, I've only made a bunch of acquaintances who don't really give a shit about me. I've tried all sorts of religions, and "non-religions" (atheism and agnosticism), but nothing works for me! I am so unhappy! I've changed my major many times, joined many clubs and organizations. I'm so exasperated. I feel so meaningless and empty. Nothing satisfies me for very long. I hate my life so much. I don't even know why I still bother to live.

This town is a black hole.

I'm looking to move out of my folk's house, so I need a roommate. I'm a 28 year old guy, big guy, and I am very reclusive and keep to myself. If you are a big time partier you might want another roommate because I am reclusive and asexual. I am pretty much out of the way doing my own thing. Most of my free time is spent on the computer making art. Not just doodles for fun, but real illustrations (think the level you have to be at to get into comm design). I don't want to brag, just don't want anyone to assume that I'm an artist who has no chance of earning a living at it. I'm white and I love saying the "n-word" when I'm alone. Not to describe black people, but more as a general description for everything. I call myself n---a, a TV show that I like or don't like n---a, my car keys n---a, etc. I was wondering how black folk at UNT feel about this and if it's something that I should continue keeping to myself or if it would ever be acceptable to say it publicly (in your opinions).

My younger sister got involved in a very shady lifestyle involving drugs, gangs, and prostitution. Started at a young age (around 18). Around that age she became pregnant. My confession is that I tried to convince her to get an abortion. I was about 23 and I don't know what I was thinking. She miscarried. Had she gotten it I would have felt some inner conflict to say the least. I still kind of feel it.
