#55 People always ask if I'm a lesbian, due to my collection of rainbows or "gay" behavior towards women. My answer is No, I'm just lucky. My parents are very tolerant and non judgmental. I used to be bullied, gay and lesbian friends stood up for me. The pain I felt at school, being alone, a freak etc., they felt at home. They saved me from my darkest moments and my family saved them from theirs. My queerness isn't based on my sexual orientation, it is on the joy of those who are different and band together because of it. I wish everyone could find the acceptance I have found, there is way too much hate out there.
