#1752 So, in the spirit of Halloween, I did some thinking. Scary, huh?

No but seriously, in a bout of loneliness I decided to question the feels. I concluded that I'm not really REALLY desirous of other people's company so much as I crave a specific type of company, but the type that are willing to come to ME, instead of being a captive audience. The type that are reliable, consistent, and actually care about what I think about them. The type that ISN'T a flake and is willing to invest time in a friendship in the same manner that I am of them.

Finding fakes and flakes (ergo, acquaintances) is no problem around UNT. Everyone's really nice... it's just finding ACTUAL friends that's excruciatingly frustrating. It's largely a matter of chemistry I suppose, just like finding a good relationship.

At least I can take comfort in that, statistically, the average American has fewer friends than ever.

#1750 Well, this is my final semester at UNT since I am graduating soon. I just also realized this was my last real attempt to meet any women. During the course of college, I've been to a few parties, clubs and a few bars... but they are not really me scene. People are usually doing drugs, too drunk or don't want to be bothered. I've never had a girlfriend in college, had sex or met any worth while women. Now that I am graduating, my life will pretty much we work and sleep. It's really sad that you cannot seem to meet women anywhere else besides clubs, parties and bars. There is more to life than the party and I wish I could have met women like that during the during my college years.

#1748 I hate when girls, or guys, claim to be gamers but all they play is CoD or Battlefield. To me that's like saying I'm a chef but all I can cook is spaghetti. But what's worse is when they put down other games bc they're not "as good as cod" that really burns me. I mean I enjoy the cod and battlefield games but I much prefer Last of Us, AC, Batman, Beyond Two Soul, even really challenging ones like Dark Soul. Am I the only one who has these feels.

#1747 Let the flame & hate war begin... BUT I do not believe in love. Do not get me wrong - I believe a person can love their family, pets, etc... but as far as love goes between men & women... I just don't believe that exists. Look at our culture for example. It is all about hooking up. A lot of people seem to have 20 sex partners at age 25 these days. People just have sex for the hell of it. More people these days are single parents. Look at the way marriage is these days. Men and women tend to refer to their first wives/husbands as "starter wives" or "starter husbands". Divorce rates are freaking high as fuck. Marriage seems to be less prevalent and people seem to get married just for the wedding and attention. Love is not a sacred thing like it used to be. It just seems really superficial and played out. Seriously... what is love? People who have been dating for a while often say that they love their BF or GF, but I often wonder if people really know what love is.
