#3297 Unfortunately, I no longer attend UNT, but I still live in Denton. I am a pretty lonely person as my friends kinda disappeared on me and no longer speak to me. I am really interested in making new friends, but that's hard to do when you aren't in school. :(

#3296 What is a good way to make friends? I don't party, drink, or smoke (just not my scene or thing, trying to be a good Christian girl,lol) and I find it hard to make friends who don't do the above things. So does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? Because college life is pretty boring right now for me and not what I imagined it would be like. I pictured myself with a great social life and just enjoying college but that's not coming true at the moment. I have a few people I talk to but I want a good group of girlfriends I can hang out with and have fun with. I just want to surround myself with a good group of people and enjoy the 2 yrs I have left here

#3291 I'm a 320 pound white male who is trying to lose weight (but it's not easy because I take meds that keep my weight up). I hate how being an obese white male seems to limit me to four fashion choices: 1) hood (hoodies, saggy pants, beanies, etc) 2) Sports fan (AKA the Kevin Smith), 3) Small town bumblefuck (Redneck, racist, idiot, schizophrenic, juggalo, etc) and 4) the Ubernerd (AKA the Gabe Newell and George R.R. Martin)

There seem to be no more fashion options left unless you happen to be fat on Halloween and/or you're black, in which case you can dress cool as fuck (Patrice O' Neal, Cedrick the Entertainer, Cee Lo). Also if you're interested in wearing women's clothing that opens you up to looking fab as fuck, although on the other hand it severely limits the jobs you can have and places you can live.

My question is, are there any other options? I want to wear something cool, fun and low-key all at the same time until I'm thin enough to wear regular shit.

#3290 I was sitting on a bench eating a burrito in my sweatpants last week and this girl stopped walking just to tell me how pretty I was and I don't think you realize how much that affected me. I was slammed with homework and stressed about labs, but after her kind words I was all grins for the rest of the day. I'm going to pass on that good feeling.
