#3345 I transferred here in the hopes of getting a good roommate. My previous roommate wasn't really a bad or good fit, we did get along, but I was hoping I could have a roommate in which I could talk to, and be friends with, hopefully someone who was at the very least a nice person. My roommate is not that nice at all, and I can say it's kinda killing my good mood when I get to my dorm. I ask her a lot of questions since I just transferred here since I want to get to know the school better. She speaks to me like I am a complete idiot though and is actually pretty rude, even my friend noticed when my roommate was speaking to me last week. I can tell she really doesn't want me in the room too. I know she misses her old roommate a lot (her old roommate became an RA) she always makes comments about it, like it's not supposed to be my room. I don't think she can accept that she has a new roommate, and she isn't adjusting to me well. I really try to be super nice all the time but it's getting harder since she is so rude to me. I want to talk to her about this, but she doesn't listen well, and pretends like she doesn't hear me when I speak. I can't decide if I wanna be nice to her and just suck it up the rest of this semester, or just ask for a room change.
