#4024 I'm a guy, and I want to make a distinction between what people call "Friendzoning" now and what it actually is. Friendzoning, as a negative thing, is not just when a girl you like doesn't like you back. Yes, the term applies, and it sucks, but you deal with it because nobody did anything wrong; however, when you like a girl and are close to her and she keeps telling you, "I wish I could find a guy just like you!" that's the friendzoning that guys get mad about. #4019 It always makes me laugh (and it is sort of flattering) when women assume that I've been in relationships or when they assume that I'm not a virgin. I suppose my looks and personality often make me appear like a stud that women swoon over... or the type of guy that gets laid often. Fact of the matter is this: I'm terrible at talking to women, I'm terrible at picking up on signals, I've never had a girlfriend, and I am still a virgin. When I tell women this, they usually say, "WAIT, you're still a virgin!?!" or "How is it possible for a guy like you to never have had girlfriend or sex!?"

#4018 Here's something to ponder if you are a STRONG RELIGIOUS person:

I was born Southern Baptist myself, in VERY CONSERVATIVE ways. I was born and bred that way. You are taught and i always fully believed that you did right and lived righteously for the best of others. That you do good, not for the sake of reward, but for the betterment of mankind. It's humbling. I was taught to live righteously and courageously to allow patience and understanding in all accounts. I spent years volunteering and especially with special needs children whom were at a disadvantage. I was ALWAYS humbled. I believe I am an intelligent and good looking, hard working man/student. I did the volunteer work, not for praise/recognition, but because it felt "right" in my heart.

However, the God above chose to turn my life upside down. (Facetiously, "thanks almighty God")

I see on the news thousands, if not millions of children below the age of 5 suffering and dying in third world countries. I see INNOCENT neonates in the PICU(I spent a year volunteering at a hospital) suffering horrific deaths and pain. I see young children born with Autism, Cretenism, Downs Syndrome... I was always humbled i didn't have any physical defects like that and always strove to be there and make those kinds of chldren happy...

But i see this, what happened to myself, and what happens to thousands of other "good people" whom live there life righteously, not because someone told them, but becaue it was "right" in their hearts... and they get screwed over. Bad things shouldn't happen to good people, it doesn't mean good things should happen to good people either... But making a "good person" suffer through something, something tragic(an accident) isn't fun or funny...
