Here is my confession, and I want to know if I am wrong. I am tired of people talking so much shit about me. Yes, I am a loner. Yes, I am quiet. Yes, I keep to myself and do my own thing. But that doesn't make me any less different than someone who is super social. At the end of the day, I am human. I especially hate it when people say that I am anti-social. In the past, when I used to try to get to know people, they always did something to betray my trust. Like, for example, in 2012, a couple of my co-workers invited me to the bar to drink with them. It was my first time drinking and I got shit-faced. They recored me and showed it to everyone at work and people at my job started to act strange towards me after that. That happened 2 years ago and people at work are still going on and on about it and bring it up once in a while. Over the past few years, I have learned that it is better to keep a small circle of friends (I currently have 4 friends). I hang out with my 4 friends, and they are true-blue people. So, since when am I a bad guy for not talking to other people, keeping quiet and being alone (don't get me wrong, I say hi to people)? There have been so many instances in my life where people have shown they cannot be trusted, so I believe that it is better to keep to yourself and have a few good friends. I wish people would stop judging me so much and learn to check themselves before checking me!

I'm sorry I pushed you away. If you can believe it, I did it because I care about you. I had some undiagnosed health problems at the time that were making me depressed and I couldn't tell you the truth because I didn't know it myself. You've been with the same guy for a few years now and I don't expect you to come back to me, but I wish you could see that you deserve much better than him.
