#5070 This town is overrated. It's not the liberal utopia everybody seems to think it is, and 90% of all that live music everybody brags about is just a half baked garage band. The roads are godawful, the cops are a half-step above extortion artists, and you have to drive an hour to get to anything resembling a real city. I can't think of a single thing Denton has going for it that Austin doesn't do exponentially better, except the music portion of UNT. That being said, at least Austin has a real jazz club.

#5068 So my chemistry professor told me that the science research building, you know the one that has the construction fences around it for like two years now, is not structurally sound and is basically condemned. Apparently when they made the building they forgot to drill holes in the cement in the foundation that let water out or something. So basically the foundation is filled with gross, black, water, that could not only make people sick it could also cause the building to collapse. He said it's no safe for people to be in it and the only way to fix the fuck up with the foundation is to totally demolish the building and re build it. Now why hasn't this happened and why are people still going in and out of the building like nothing is wrong? UNT is too cheap to do it. They'd rather build an attractive new union than take care of a dangerous building sitting on campus. Maybe if they weren't 80 million dollars in the whole from their dumb ass accounting flaws shit would be getting done around here.

#5067 I really hope my roommates next year are more like me. I roomed this year with 2 bulky black guys who spent every week partying and bringing different girls home to fuck on a regular basis and blasting loud music and they did not like me one bit. Meanwhile, I'm a skinny awkward introverted little white kissless virgin who spends all day watching anime and playing pokemon and TF2 because I have no friends. I've tried joining clubs but nobody can stand to be around me for too long because of how awkward I am. No surprise, I was always the weird geek that all the other geeks made fun of and that the jocks especially loved to beat between classes every day.

People were always talking behind her back, and telling me not to be friends with her, but I would try to set the record straight, that she was a "good person" and not being whorish.
