Are there any other straight edge people in Denton? Seems like no one knows how to have a good time without alcohol and drugs these days. Not trying to be preachy or anything, would just be nice to go to shows or hang out with some people who aren't high or intoxicated for once.

So my friends and I occasionally run into this group of guys...every time we see them they always seem interested in our conversations and give us awkward looks (not that we mind it because they are appealing guys) We coincidentally ALWAYS see them EVERYWHERE! Its weird neither group has the courage to talk to the other which makes for really awkward yet entertaining situations. MAN UP cause we can't:p

just because my mom is paying for my college doesnt mean im some stuck up brat. Its not my choice i dont have a job, she wont let me get one my first 2 years, unless its an intership. and i have one lined out for next summer. My parents are not wealthy at all. my dad thinks im a joke for wanting to come to college, so he doesnt help at all. My mom has given up everything to get money to help me through college. so to all the students out there who are paying for their own college, you deserve to be here. you didnt have it just handed to you, and youre working your asses off. or at least you should be. so kudos to you. But i am also working my ass off because I dont have the money to fail and retake classes either. so please dont bash kids whose parents pay for their college, you might not know their situation either.

All I do all day is get high.
