Today, after painstakingly keeping it a secret for 8 years, I finally came out of the closet to my very conservative Christian friends and family. In less than an hour, I was bombarded with hate mail and how Jesus wouldn't approve. I'm 24, and now I have no friends, due to my sheltered lifestyle. How can I meet new people? I'm also a social pariah. I mess up every friendship I have. Maybe I shouldn't have admitted I was gay. But it felt pretty good at the time...

I lost my dad almost three years ago. And every time I watch a movie, it seems like a dad always dies in them. I immediately stop watching them because then I get upset and just start remembering when the doctor at the hospital walked in and checked on him and announced he was gone. Worst moment of my life. Also how on the day on his funeral how the immediate family rides in a limo that follows the hearse, never thought that my first time riding in one would be to go to my dads funeral.
