Just turned twenty-three and I, still, have never been in love. I've felt love a countless amount of times, and I've dated plenty of people, but I still don't know what it feels like to be in love with someone. People tell me i'm lucky to not have to go through everything that comes with it, but honestly, THATS ALL I WANT... even if the person doesn't love me back, I just want to know what it feels like. I mean, yeah, being the person that's always in control has its benefits, but I would so much rather be the person that feels everything whole- heartedly. I have so much respect for people that take the risk of opening themselves up to someone that could so easily just break them apart, and honestly, I think those people are the ones that end up growing the most. So to all the people that go through the very best of the good and bad, I hope you never get discouraged enough to end up not wanting to feel anymore, because there are people out there that would kill to rid the numbness.
