"I started at UIC regretting every minute. The school is, in my eyes, total garbage; the quality of education is garbage, the rising tuition costs are needless and unwarranted, etc. I viewed UIC as the go-to college for poor but smart people, smart druggies looking for more out of life, or rich kids that weren't smart enough to get into anywhere else. I really hated it here.
Now that my graduation looms around the corner, I must say I have come to truly love and appreciate UIC. I don't know what it is, but maybe through all the experiences I've had roaming campus at 4 in the morning, exploring the underground tunnels and the campus rooftops, getting rowdy in Courtyard, finding love, experimenting with my personal limitations and expanding my mind, I must say it was very worth my while.
