For the first time in my life, not only do I like math, I LOVE it. Unlike all of my other classes, it is the only one that isn't controversial, and the teacher can't give me a bad grade because I don't agree with them.

To the person who confessed about their first love- it must be different for everyone. My first love was someone I thought I knew for sure I was going to marry. I was crazy about her. Due to the circumstances we were both in, that relationship had to end. It took me 2 years in order to get a grasp on reality again and feel ok. I thought I would never feel something that strong for anyone ever again until I met the person who I am with now. The relationship took time to grow instead of me falling head over heels like the first time. With the second person, I learned how to be patient. I learned how to be realistic. I learned how to compromise. I learned how to put someone else first. I learned how to be a better person. Now my first love is just a lesson. I feel like all the heartbreak I went through prepared me to be the best person I can be for my current girlfriend. It's been 4 years with my girlfriend and I can honestly say I can't picture myself with anyone else and I don't want to.
