Even if a woman has experienced a miscarriage those images could be really dangerous to her healing. Abortion is not an issue that should just be casually presented in front of a public school library. It is a sensitive issue that isn't usually taken lightly by the women who choose to have an abortion. Dear protesters: you don't know the lives of the women who have had abortions. You don't know her story and you definitely have no right to make decisions about someone else's body!

This is what is so screwed up with our political system. Separation of government and religion was established for a reason. Think back to the founding of our country and how prejudiced our society was against citizens who were not of the the Christian faith. I find it funny that all our representatives go to college and have to take the basic History we all have to take and they learn about how terrible we treated our citizens of different religions yet want to make the Bible the book of Tennessee.. I am all in favor of everyone having their own beliefs but when it comes to a fair and just system, religion should have no input in our laws. What Putnam County Courthouse has done by putting the words "In God We Trust" absolutely violates the separation of religion and government. If I was of any other faith I would be mortified to be prosecuted in our local courthouse for fear of religious prejudice. I also believe that our currency should not have that same phrase imprinted on the bottom of all coins and dollars because that still implies we are a narrow minded country in only accepting one religion. Share your thoughts and let's see what Tech students believe!

#17407 Just a little explanation on how Quality Points work, since a question was asked about it.
Quality points determine your GPA. An A is 4 quality points, a B is 3, a C is 2, and a D is one (and these are per hour of class, so an A in a 3 cr.hr. class is 12 points) They add up your quality points and divide by Attempted Hours. That's your GPA.
Example: you are taking 12 hours. You make As in 6 hours and Bs in 6 hours. You would have 24 QPs for the As and 18 for the Bs, or 42. Divide that by 12 attempted hours, and you have a 3.5 GPA.

The library only has the one entrance we can use if we really need to go in for anything we have to subjugate ourselves to fear tactics and bias information.
