If you get an email or phone call or anything from someone from Young Entrepreneurs Across America, DO NOT follow up with their "management" internship where you can make "upwards of $6K" over the summer. Young Entrepreneurs Across America is actually Student Painters and they are a pyramid scheme type company that preys on college students. It is a total scam and you WILL waste your time and money on this company with nothing to show for it. I made the mistake of doing their internship and worked countless hours in the spring in hopes of running a "successful" business over the summer. But what I didn't realize is they use students to market for them all spring then if you don't have a certain number of sales by the start of summer, they take all your sales and give you NOTHING for all the hours you worked. Plus if you do actually get to open "your business" they take almost half of your hard earned money through a "administration fee." It is a total scam and this company is horrible. Don't be fooled by their enthusiasm and false promises. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

#17491 So financial aid told me on Friday that I am to no longer receive federal aid. I have 179 hrs, but have completed everything except senior year of one major and 3 classes of another major. I was actually was at school last week to declare dual degrees instead of double majors like I am now. Has anyone on here done this? They told me I'd have to write a SAP appeal (satisfactory academic progress). Anyone had success with that to get more hours approved?

#17489 So I applied for upper division and have been waiting to get an email stating I have been accepted. Instead I received an email stating I have a predicament with my disposition. I need to schedule an appointment to meet with the head of the department. Does anyone know why this is or what I should expect? I am afraid I did not get in and have to change majors.
