#17533 Dear freshman self,
You are beautiful. I know you don't believe it right now but what you're doing to your body is not worth it. Skipping meals and making yourself sick and weighing yourself every morning, afternoon, and night is not going to help you love yourself more. I promise you it will not seem beautiful and worth it when you're laying in the hospital bed. Eating disorders are not some fashion statement and you will really hurt yourself, and not just physically. But, everything will work out. You will fall behind in school and fail all of your classes the second semester. But listen to mama when she makes you get help. You will be angry, but let me tell you, she means the best. Things will get so much better, you will love yourself more each day. And let me tell you, you will do great things and push yourself to be a strong woman. You're graduating college this year and you're much happier. So hang on, love those helping you, and pray hard. You will make it.

#17532 Dear Freshman self, learn who you are before you fall in love. Also friends with benefits are never the answer.

#NoteToSelf When you fall in love in the spring semester, know that the guy you've given your heart to has promised his life to the military. His life is going to take him somewhere else after Tech and you need to really figure out if you love him enough or are even strong enough to be apart of his lifestyle. He's a good one. Don't screw it up.

#17530 To my freshman self: don't let your friends introduce you to guys. They don't know what you want in a boyfriend and they can introduce you to the wrong guy. Don't go trying to get in a relationship as soon as you can. Wait it out, let it happen on its own. Don't just be willing to meet anyone for the sake of a potential relationship, because that can get sketchy and you may live with the grudge of your first "dating" experience horror-failure for a long, long time. Because you are capable of holding grudges till the end of time and moving on is hard when you're embarrassed by what happened.

#17529 To freshman me: Literally every parking spot that is not at the library or engineering lot is OFF LIMITS. I know you tried to park anywhere you didn't see a sign that said "Faculty Only" but that's not good enough. Drive your conniving butt to the lots where the masses park...you are not clever, you are probably getting a ticket.

#17528 I'd tell myself you're in for a hell of a ride. Stay strong. Although you want to major in something different, you have to ride this out to be absolutely certain. The friends you make here will be golden, and you have to take what is handed to you.

#17527 Never believe something in school where they say something can't be done. It can. You just have to find out who to talk to. If you have any doubts at all about a major, especially engineering, don't do it. You'll end up with a 0.6 or 0.0 gpa your first semester, (me and a friend) playing video games, drinking, and eating enough to gain fourty pounds in eight months. Instead make money by going to a community college, instead of wasting money on meal plans, dorms, rent, and bullshit.
