#15885 So, this one time my friend and I walked over to Tech Village, because we were looking for someone who could answer some questions. We had never been to Tech Village before, so we didn't know where to go. We were under the impression that the main building was the same building as the laundry facility. If you looked inside the door (not the laundry side) it looked like the common area of a dorm. The doors we tried were locked, however there was one on the opposite side that we had not tried. So I went to open it, and it was unlocked...but that room was actually someone's apartment.

a.) why the hell is there an apartment attached to a laundry facility? b.) why do they not specify that this building (which is one of the first buildings you see) is not a main building? c.) why would you leave your door unlocked when it can easily be mistaken as an entrance to a building?

Anyway. we quickly ran away from the apartment because it startled us. I tried to pull the door closed as we ran, but it didn't shut all the way. I wasn't about to go back there and fight with it in case someone was home.

After running away terrified but cracking up at the situation, we finally found the main building (which is buried behind a bunch of apartments).

On our walk back toward campus we actually saw two people approach the door (that I may not have shut all the way) looking appalled that their door was open. They were opening the door slowly and hesitant to go in.

I made an honest mistake, but someone could have easily broken into that place just by seeing those people leave the door unlocked. So, lock your doors. :)

#15885 I have been looking to move into the Saxony Apartments over on East Spring Street. Can someone please give an honest review of their experiences and breakdown of prices. I do not fully understand the internet package.

#15883 So I've seen a lot of the dorm room furniture laid out where the dressers are next to the beds/doorway, desks are under the beds, and fridge/tv are in front of the air conditioner. Has anybody figured out any other ways to organize the room that's different or more space-efficient?
