#15968 Hey, I’ve been thinking of starting a movie appreciation club at Tech. The movies being shown would be classics that are either culturally significant / just great movies in general that might be obscure just because they’re older. For example: Shawshank Redemption, Taxi Driver, fight Club, No country for old men, Amadeus, Forrest Gump, etc. I would try to change up the genre each session. I would probably try to have it held in the tech pride room. Is this something that you all would be interested in? Please let me know what you think. thanks

#15967 I confess that when I was little, I sometimes mixed up the World Trade Center two towers and the Lord of the Rings two towers.

#15966 To the survivor who posted confession 15964. There is help available to you and you are not alone. Contact Genesis House at 931-526-5197. It is a common misconception around Tech that GH only helps women -- that is not true! Sexual assault and rape should not be tolerated period.

#15965 Disney owns marvel. Marvel owns Thor. Thor is the son of a king. Thor is now female. Thor is now a Disney princess.

#15964 I was sexually assaulted on the Fourth of July in broad daylight outside my apartment, and after finally having the courage to walk in the police department and make my statement, I get interrogated for 3 hours even after I emotionally broke down in the interrogation room. They said that there was no way that a man of my stature could get sexually assaulted and know nothing about the perpetrators. Then, they said I would for sure get jail time if I walked out of the room for falsifying a report. It was the most dehumanizing thing I've ever been through. I don't know what to do.

#15962 As much as I hate asking this page (no offense), has anyone had any experience with G&G Properties? I have done an extensive amount of research and have turned up nothing worth taking into consideration (small message boards with no productive reviews). I want to move into one of their apartments, but I have no idea if I'll be walking into a terrible experience. Anyone have any notable experiences that would make me feel a little better/wholly convinced to not follow through?

#15962 Here is a pearl of wisdom about the difference between men and women from my friend: "Men do stupid shit, but women do 'what the fuck' kind of shit."
