#15986 Been working at Sakura Hibachi almost every single day this summer. Yeah, I haven't enjoyed a relaxing summer vacation like some other people have, but I do love my job when I can chat up a customer and make them laugh and smile. It's great to see that bit of happiness.

#15984 I called FAFSA and Tech, and they said I am eliible for the PELL Grant. It's not on my awards or account summary at all, though, because they said the awards were given out on August 15th, but that doesn't make any sense because that's when we have to pay. Can anyone clarify this for me?

#15983 I went to a black person wedding to help my friend take picutres (I'm white and tan). I had my hair in a fishtail braid, and they called me Pocahontas the entire time. When I thought about it Pocahontas (the typical one from the Disney movie) never braided her hair, but normally when you think about dressing up like her you think "braid". It's all a big misconseption.

#15981 I am an incoming freshman, and I can't seem to figure out the proper way to obtain books. I have my schedule and I entered them into the book finder, but none of my professors require the book, or so it says. Does that mean I really don't need the book, or do I have to wait until classes start, so I'm forced to buy new, instead of rent or used?

#15980 So I work in a resaurant in Cookeville. I want to meet people but with school out there is no one in town. Ill be going to school in the fall and didnt know what was the best way to go about meeting people on campus. Is greek really the way to go? Ive never really been interested in it but I really would love to meet more interesting people.
