#15997 What is the best way to meet new people and be involved in things going on around the school? I am new to Tech. I thought about joining a sorority, but I don't know anything about them.

#15997 So I was put in M.S. cooper/ Pinkerton (as it was my first choice on the housing application) but at the time I didn't know it was the international dorm.... Is it strictly international, or can anyone stay there. And is it a good dorm to be in?

#15996 I have tried to hook up a girl in tech, but not working.
I don't know what's wrong? Is it me? or they? every time I asked a girl to go out for a coffee to get together, they put their work as an excuse. I know you have to work, but come on you do not have free time for an hour or so.

#15996 I confess I met the most beautiful, pink haired woman today. I hope I see her again.

#15996 I don't get the whole fat acceptance movement. There is nothing attractive or beautiful about childhood obesity. There is nothing attractive about being so severely overweight it is a danger to your own health. And why is shaming people who aren't attracted to overweight people supposed to act as motivation to be attracted to them? We get it. Fat people are people too. Gay people.. minorities.. whomever. It shouldn't matter what you are. But whatever you are, be a good one.

#15995 To the heifer that really needs to learn when to shut her mouth: The quad is not your front yard; It's public property. If you leave things unattended (especially things like cheap, scuffed up frisbees), someone WILL pick them up and take them. You must not live here. Tech kids leave shit out there all the time simply because they don't want to pick it up.
So yes. If I notice something like a frisbee lying there and NO ONE is outside, I'm prbly gonna pick it up for my dog later. At least when you appeared and made me aware it actually belonged to someone I apologized, told you I didn't realize anyone was out there, and gave it back.
At which point you should've said thank you and left it at that. But no. You had to keep running your big fat mouth like a little bitch. Accuse me of stealing from children? It's not like I ripped it out of a baby's hand. It's not like I hopped a playground fence and snatched it. There were no children (or adults) in a visual or audible distance when I picked it off the ground.
I sure hope you're not teaching those kids the bullying attitude you tried to employ on me.
Your time would be better spent teaching them to pick their shit up and put it away. But I guess you need to learn how to do that first.
Seriously. Drop the heifer attitude. It's gonna get you in trouble some day.
