#862 So today at lunch time, I was getting Taco Bell in the union and I used a $20 dollar bill to pay for it because I needed change to pay my rent. Well, when I asked the register lady if I could get change for the $10 she gave me--she told me, "No, we can't do that." I was disappointed, but it was whatever, so I just waited in line for my food.
The girl next to me said that she'd give me change, out of nowhere. I was really surprised and was happy to see that there are still people like that here at SLU.

#743 Today, like every day I've gone, there was a man outside of Winn-Dixie with his homeless/seeking a job sign. Well, I can't give him a job, but I went home with my groceries, made a sandwich and packed some veggies and fruit, bought a couple bottles of water, and drove back to give it to him. I don't carry much cash, but I found four dollars and some change hidden at the bottom of my purse, so I gave that to him, too. He kept saying, "Thank you so much, God bless you, Merry Christmas," and I almost cried on my way home, because a lunch and four dollars made his face light up so damn much. I'm saying this anonymously because I shouldn't say "my name is _____, and I did a good deed today!" I should just do it because I'm a human being and he's a human being and he needs help. So, basically, I'm kind of hoping this inspires some people to help others, too, even if they're not spiritual like I am, even if it's something so small as an apple to give to someone.

#742 I love my boyfriend, but his family is basically on the edges of being trash. Hearing their name gets me pissed off. Even though I don't think he's like them I'm rethinking my future. I can't imagine being married into a family I'm ashamed to claim. I think it's wrong to ask him to disown his family over me, but I do wish it was possible.

#745 To the person who stole the green huffy bike that was by the science building annex... please, please, if you have any good in you, bring it back... my deceased grandmother bought it for me, so it has alot of sentimental value. I also rely on it as my primary mode of transportation to and from school, work, etc. So, please please please return it...

#748 I feel so stuck and I can't talk to my friends about it anymore because I know they're tired of hearing it. Ive been talking to this guy for about two months now. Problem is I don't think he's as into me as I am into him. Aka I think he's just using me. I dumped my ex bc that relationship had no passion.. Like zero kissing him literally felt like 123 &123 over and over again. Nothing. So then I meet this one and the passion is completely there, but idk how to get it to go further than that. Or if I can do better and find someone that will actually go on a date and commit to a relationship the way I want. Y'all help a girl out.
