#6426 I've been sitting in front of Quiznos for 20 minutes.... I've watched 9 different golf carts pass by.... Whoever said that our tuition is being spent on golf carts, I most certainly agree!!!

#6426 The parking police can take a spot in the upperclass commuter parking lot to get out & hand out tickets? That's not ass backwards or anything....

Cake - One of these days I'm going to inscribe them a ticket of my own on behalf of all SLU students. It'll go a little something like "violation: never fucking off"

#6427 I confess that when I'm bored with nothing to do I log on Facebook and send everyone candy crush invites repeatedly.

#6520 I keep on hearing about religion as a Great Dovider (my own name on it). However, the very things that divide also unify. Europe was unified (more or less) under the Catholic Church as one example. People of religious groups work together. Any other divisions? Why, yes. Government. Borders. Culture. These things may divide people, but they also unify others. I'm not saying any attack or intolerance is a good thing or bad thing. I'm just saying that, in my view, religion isn't bad for a society. Religion was used as justification of war, yes, but there are other motives of war as well.
Sorry if this is jumbled up, but I'm really tired.

#6460 I have friends here on campus, but I confess sometimes I wish I could express my interests better around them. They are all mostly into the same stuff, and I feel like the odd one out a lot of times. I love music, sports, and cars, but they aren't necessarily into those things. It'd be nice to have a couple of consistent guy friends who would enjoy being around me and be able to talk sports, music, or whatever. I know there are a few bros on campus who can relate!

#6439 I'm in love with my best friend. He has a girl friend. I want to be happy for him and be supportive, but I find it difficult. Some part of me can't help but think 'what if...'. The fact that it sounds like they're getting married soon makes it so much worse.

#6425 I confess that I love Southeastern, but I'm not exactly a student there.. As a matter of fact, I'm not exactly a student anywhere... After high school, I basically took a whole year off due to personal reasons, and I hoped to attend this year but ended up in the hospital twice this summer with no insurance, so I can't exactly afford it just yet. I'll be 21 in just a few short months, and I realize that there's no age limit in college.. like, I'm aware that I can enroll later on in life, but I can't help but feel like (if I'm not in school right now) I'm wasting time... I should be working toward that degree & that diploma, toward my future, right now, you know? I want to go to school so bad.. but, that drive alone won't help me feel like any less of a loser... I want to actually put that drive to use! I mean, I know that things don't always go as planned, and maybe everything happens for a reason, and I also know that life ain't easy & the world ain't fair, but it just sucks, you know? That's all I'm sayin'

#6422 This could be a good question for everyone.. Do girls really like it when guys are confident and approach them first?

Cake - There's no certain answer, it's varies for each person. If you stick to gender roles, then this is typically how it goes or how it is expected to go. Some girls may like it, some could be intimidated. Who knows! Either way at least it breaks the ice. I think a lot of girls secretly hope for a dude to approach them first because they're too shy to do it themselves. All you can do is go for it. Anyone else's thoughts?
