#23992 I recently returned home after 2 years of studying at Purdue. Flew 20 hours to here and I think I made the wrong decision, cause now I am slightly afraid to return back to school. I like Purdue a lot, I feel safe there. I can walk back from campus to my apartment late at night by myself without having to worry that much. I like the people (some though), who would smile to strangers. I like the diversity, making friends with people around the world. I like the weather, except summer cause it's too hot. I like working there cause I get paid more than working in my home country. There are so many things that make me want to go back there already, but recent incidents have had me in doubt. Shootings, hate-crimes, racist bigots, Trump... I was kind of shocked to see that some Purdue students are even supporting Trump I still don't understand why. Not that my country is any better than that but I am just wondering if things are going to be the same as before those recent tragedies happened. Will the lady at the airport helped me with a smile on her face again after this? Will the security officers there pull me out of the line to further investigate me? Are they even going to let me enter United States again? Will my American friends be sidetracked by what the media portrays?
Why am I in doubt? Because I believe in God, I wear scarf/hijab for what I believe and I am also scared of violence.

#23990 I don't enjoy hanging out with my bestie anymore. All we talk about is her and we don't seem to have anything in common so I get very bored. I feel bad that she's lonely which drives most of our get-togethers.
