#24539 I am SICK and TIRED of everyone on campus mocking my culture. If I were to wear a sombrero or dashiki I would be expelled, but how am I supposed to feel when rednecks are actively mocked every day? I am a proud redneck and I know where I come from. I shouldn't be the butt of every goddang joke on campus just because I like to ride my tractor, drive big trucks and talk about wrestling. If your people saw someone mocking their culture you would feel sad when you thought of your parents and grandparets, right? Well the same goes for my pappy and momma on the bayou. That's the worst thing about majoring in anthropology and sociology, they shame you for not knowing every little detail about other cultures but there is widespread acceptance for ignorance and hatred of my culture.

I am tired of girls ignoring a hello in public as if they have no idea who you are. This is plain disrespectful, do you know what it feels to be completely humiliated? Saying hi to someone you know, expecting at least a courteous response and getting nothing. If you do this, I have no respect for you. To you it may seem innocent but imagine the effect it could have on another. You are degrading them to someone who is unworthy of even your slightest attention. I'm sorry to be so blunt but you are hardly that hot and to the one who hurt my good friend tonight, you could lose 15 pounds or so.
