The electoral college is a good system, pure democracies don't work. Can we please stop saying "the majority voted for trump! Get rid of the electoral system", etc. The electoral college exists so that a slight majority can't rule over all. It gives us a more diversified voting arrangement. At least put in a little effort to study the history of democracies and the reasoning behind the electoral college before making dramatic statements about the US Constituion. People offending each other on the Internet is just a serious waste of time. If you want to make the world a safer place for all Americans socially, work on changing the culture.
