#25525 Trust me, breaking up with you was the best decision I've ever made.

#25524 I take antipsychotics, antidepressants, ambien and xanax as prescribed by a doctor. Have been for several years. Thing is, this shit makes me emotionally dead, sometimes completely zoned out like a zombie, and I'm experiencing some sexual dysfunction (not that it matters lol)
I brought this up to several doctors at my clinic and they talk down to me like it was my decision, or that I should be grateful to receive the medication for free, or that I'm being an asshole who thinks I know more about psychology than they do. At least that's the impression I get. The first two things might be true, but there have been times when I'll ask them questions in earnest about why I'm experiencing these side effects and they answer like a parent scolding their child. I just want to say "fuck off?" to them sometimes. I never claimed to be as educated as them, that's why I'm going to that clinic to seek HELP and why I'm asking questions in the first place.
TBH I also wonder if their endgame is to funnel me into some kind of organized religion, which goes against my belief in the truth of science that I've had since I was a child (I always thought about the cosmos and had an extensive knowledge of paleontology at a young age). I'm not smart enough to be a scientist,a dn I'm not a scientologist either, lol, just someone who leans more towards science being a rational way to live by instead of books that are thousands of years old. That's just how I roll.
Anyway, I don't know what to do. My medication is free at this clinic and the ambien and xanax do help relax me somewhat, so I like that aspect. But there seems to be little effort to actually find a way around the side effects of the antipsychotics. Maybe I should have never agreed to take them for so long in the first place and that's on me. Just not sure what to do now, feels like my brain is fried. Even when my dad, aunt, and uncle died recently I couldn't cry, so I avoided going to some funerals because I would just be there zoned out like a zombie making everyone sadder and less comfortable. This is making it difficult for me to find work and I'm worried about what will happen and not sure what to do. Asked several friends, fam, and messageboard friends what I can do to move forward from this and so far nothing. Any advice will be much appreciated.

#25523 LIKE THIS IF YOU'VE HAD A GOOD ROOMMATE EXPERIENCE. Comment if you haven't! (This is overall, not one time things. Trying to decide if I should have a roommate next year or not.)

#25521 Feeling kind of shitty about having to do an extra semester. I know if I hadn't fucked around sophomore year, I would be out of here on time even with my major change. I'm trying to stay positive and tell myself that there's no sense dwelling on what I can't change.

#25519 I turned 21 a couple of weeks ago and have a lot of fun partying at cactus. Do girls find it creepy if a guy just joins to dance with you? or how do guys usually hit on girls at a club?

#25518 How do you make friends when you're socially awkward? I try to hang out with people, but it seems no one likes my company because of my awkardness. You can't be socially confident unless you talk to people on a regular basis. People won't talk to you unless you're socially confident. It's a viscious cycle. Am I destined to be forever alone?
