#25936 I want to join the fight against oppression against those who are being considered second class citizens by the powers that be (LGBT, people of color, disabled peeps, etc). I am attracted to males, as well as females, so I am not thrilled to see Trump get elected. But offline I'm also a sex offender and a terrible liar (I abused a family member while growing up in my teens) and it's usually revealed in subtle ways and gets me socially weeded out, fired, etc, and rightfully so. I fight trolls online, but beyond that, what can I do?

#25935 Society looks down on you when you aren't thankful or respectful to/for your parents, but what if your parents were narcissistic, emotionally abusive, selfish, etc? And then they talk down to you when you're an adult for distancing yourself from them and confuse your sadness and anger for petulance or something. "I'm the parent, you are the child. Don't forget that!"

I dunno, are you just supposed to always respect your parents, even if they are jerks who gave you a lot of sad memories growing up?

#25934 I have a low tolerance for assholes/jerks/idiots. It is a curse and a blessing lol. Just wish there was a foolproof way to make trump supporters, arrogant men, people with privilege, and prickly, lazy and unintelligent humans in general understand that they are incapable of feeling emotional pain and having emotional depth. Otherwise they would be in tune to actual emotional pain felt by those who are actually sensitive and suffering, instead of being oversensitive or reactionary.

#25933 2016 was full of changes for me, I moved far away from a toxic environment to an unknown city, no help from mom, dad, a school or any family member, but through the good times and some bad, I persevered, went to some awesome concerts, though I'm not where is like to be, I am getting there...
