#26016 I'm an international student. I was on probated suspension last semester. I received an email after New Year regarding a possible violation of Student Code of Conduct regarding academic dishonesty. I've a Community Standard Board meeting next week to resolve the issue. I know that the mistake I made was totally unintentional and I'll plead responsible. I'll ask for a longer duration of probated suspension as a disciplinary sanction. However, there is a possibility that I might get suspended and will surely appeal the case. I'm curious how likely is suspension because it'll have been 2 weeks into the semester when the meeting will be hel. Also I'll lose my housing and won't be able to go home because I'm broke. I know that the board members are considerate and try to help the student but I'm still scared. Anyone been in a similar situation before?
