Yeah everyone bitches about it just shipping jobs over seas, but what if it was negotiated better. What if we actually bargained rather than walking away? The whole point was to isolate the Chinese economy anyway. 40%... That's a big deal. Idk. I feel like we're just a step away from Japan when it closed its borders and was outpaced by trade and technology. I fear history repeats itself in this way.

#26112 Adding on to #26110, I know Purdue is not a luxury resort its actually quite the opposite. I went home over winter break to be told "Why go to Purdue?" and "Whats Purdue?". In my personal opinion Purdue has a lot to fix in every aspect. If you don't think its broken you must be one of two things either an engineer or from Indiana. And yes I know about the maintenance, training, and purchase costs, so why do I pay around $40,000 a year? So engineers can get better things? If you think i'm wrong there's an area for "industrial engineers only". If this posts makes you angry then I did my job.
