#26150 I still see people fighting over who should have been president and who was right/wrong for their views, but everyone voted for the same fundamental reasons.
People voted for Hillary because:
*They have more liberal political stances and want those stances protected.
*They dislike Trump and his ignorance, hate, and lies.
*She has a ton political experience.
People voted for Trump because:
*They have more conservative political stances and want their views protected. (Most notable is being prolife. If you believe your vote is saving 1000's of lives, you're going save them.)
*They dislike Hillary and her scandals, political lies, and probable corruption.
*Trump has no experience, thus is extremely open and "tells it as it is".
Everyone feels their vote was used correctly at the time. When you vote for a nominee, you are voting for what you think they can do to help you and America. Don't fight someone because their views are slightly different than yours. As a whole, Americans believe in all the same things.
No one knows exactly what would have happened if either nominee had won. Now that Trump is doing what he is, a lot of people are mad and many people are regrettting their votes. However, no one should bash anyone for what their hope for the country was and what they still hope for it to be now that Trump is president. We need to come together as a country, and not keep fighting each other.
