#26490 Things are coming to a head with my medical problems and its making my depression and anxiety so much worse. I am now regularly losing strength in my limbs and spending far too much just laying on the floor because I dont have the strength to haul myself up to my bed. The doctors have run out of ideas of what could be causing all the pain and loss of strength and theyre having me meet with an oncologist. I am absolutely terrified and my therapist is of no help and is having me go to group therapy. I cant rely on my own family for support and only one of my friends. I feel like the worse person in the world whenever I talk to her about the stuff im going through since she has her own things to deal with and I just want to be the best friend I can.
I am tired and scared. It doesnt matter what the tests report since I either am diagnosed with cancer or they find nothing and I continue suffering in pain and muscle weakness. I am stuck in bed most of the day and I cant go out with friends almost at all anymore. I am completely lost and have no idea what to do...

#26489 It's
#26487 again. In response to Wanyoung, I don't take medication to change my personality, and my psychiatrist didn't prescribe them for that reason. I take medication because, without it, my depression and anxiety get so bad that I feel suicidal all the time. They take the edge off the painful symptoms of my personality disorder, but they don't actually change my personality. I'm very grateful I have the meds because life is more tolerable with them. Does that make sense?

#26488 I unexpectedly met someone on okcupid who turns out to be my soulmate. And feeds me veggie burgers. I love them.

#26487 Having a personality disorder sucks, not only for me, the patient but for everyone involved. It's really hard knowing that I'm unlikable yet having little ability to change that. If I could snap my fingers and get rid of everything that sucks about my personality, I would in an instant, but unfortunately, there is no cure. I take my medications, I go to therapy, I try to be a good person to myself and to my loved ones, but all this effort only gets us so far. This disorder significantly affects every aspect of my life. I'm just tired of it and wish other people could understand that I mean well and want to be healthy and normal. Ok, end of wallowing in self-pity. I needed to vent before moving on to work. Thanks for the outlet.

I find myself in a bit of a predicament. I've fallen head over heels for my tutor. She's beautiful, smart, kind, ambitious. Well, long story short; she's nothing short of stunning. I would imagine that the university has some sort of policy about this, so I'm not really sure where to go. Has anyone had a similar experience, and if so, how did you handle it?

#26484 My girlfriend is waaaay too clingy because she's afraid of losing people, the irony is that I'm getting really annoyed with her for not ever letting me have a second alone.
