#26771 So pissed that they changed the menu on that taco truck that cruises campus everyday. I liked the food last year because it was different. Now it's the same generic crap I can get in a dining hall.

#26769 Lmfao wiki leaks is a non state intelligence agency? So wait, they're mad because the Democrats got their motives revealed? They literally could have said those are just made up, and because it says wiki most people would have believed it. On top of that, I'd they wanted to save face, why didn't they bail on hillary, go for Bernie, and then pick her up again after him? God damn dumb asses

#26768 United Airlines has a policy in place that any paying customer agrees to before purchasing a flight ticket. That policy (which any paying customer agrees to by purchasing a UAL flight ticket) allows UAL to kick a person off of a flight in the event of an overbooked flight. Per the policy, they would start by asking the customer to leave and if the customer refuses UAL has the right to get the customer to leave by force. If this is what happened then UAL has truly done nothing wrong and they have nothing to apologize for. However, was the flight "overbooked?" UAL being in the right is completely predicated on the flight being "overbooked." An "overbooked" flight means that there are more customers on the flight than there are seats for the customers. That was not the case. UAL needed to make room for their own employees, not other paying customers. So the flight was not "overbooked" and therefore UAL had no contractual authority to remove any passenger. I am just wondering why UAL seated all the passengers in the first place. Maybe UAL did not know that it needed to fly its own employees to wherever the flight was heading until after all the passengers were seated (just speculating). Oh and if anyone does not like this passenger removal policy, do not fly UAL.

#26766 I think I've finally found the answers I've been looking for for the entirety of my life. Women want exactly what they say they don't want in a guy. Keep that in mind.

#26764 To all the folks who said the guy should have gotten of the plane as per code, you are correct in saying that he was going against something he and all passengers agree to when they buy an airline ticket, but under no circumstances did the authorities have any right to break his teeth and nose while forcing him to deboard the aircraft. Especially, considering the fact that he merely declined to do so and wasn't aggressive at all.
To add to the argument, just because rules and laws are made doesn't mean we can't question their legitimacy in the future. Sure, there are good economic reasons for airlines to keep this policy. But the same rules also prevented this guy from seeing his patients the next day.
The same could happen if you're flying to a dear one's funeral or to your wife in labor. Shouldn't some consideration be given to people who present a valid reason? Sure, some may lie to board the flight but there has to be a better medium of enforcing this rule. What airlines are doing is inhumane and irrespective of racial identity (which is always blown way out of proportion in America), I believe humans can function better than this.
