#26794 Ive known this girl for about a year now and I think she's amazing. However, she's in a committed relationship and I want to respect that.
How do I tell her how I feel without making it awkward for them or I?
Confession: I dislike every star wars movie. They're tolerable, just not great.

#26793 I have depression and anxiety and no one seems to care. I have only told a couple of my friends about it. It was really difficult for me to open up to them, yet they didn't seem to care. They just told me that I need to stop overthinking and be more optimistic, as if it's that easy. I haven't told my closest friends nor my family yet, because I'm sure that they will judge me the same way.
I also don't feel comfortable telling most people about my feelings because I am suicidal. Sometimes I just wish that I had a gun so that I could shoot myself. And when I'm walking around campus I just wish that a car ran over me so that I don't have to continue dying inside.

#26792 I sleep diagonally on my full size mattress because I'm kinda tall and too poor to buy a queen. Whenever I have company over, I don't really let them stay the night because honestly... I don't want cold feet.

#26791 Followup for
#26779So I asked her out and we went on a date only to realize how much we care for each other. I have never been in love before but I think this is it. The sad part is that she's leaving in two weeks and I'm here, sad and depressed on how will I ever sustain without her? Sometimes, I wish if we had never met in the first place....

#26789 I have always been a checklist person, for it gives me a sense of reassuredness and accomplishment. It has been seasons since I last made a list about you -- guilty pleasure really -- for every time I add an item to the list, the neuron traces through that very synapse of that very memory, whether it'd be refreshing, warming, or bringing me intense anguish. Tracing back those memories allows me to be with you in that split sencond, like Dumbledore's pensieve. Never has a few words on a piece of paper been so powerful; a list that means utter nonsense to others, to me, however, contains the memories most branded into my heart, with the very same person who shattered it to fragments and dust.
What a funny thing, just a couple strokes of graphite and I was able to indulge in your imaginary presence, during a time when we mattered to each other.
This list gives me a high, a high that is stronger than the endorphin rush from a gruesome but cathartic run. But this high wears off, the person in my memories is no longer the person you are today, thus the satisfaction is not real.
Missing you is a privilege, a luxury that I don't deserve, yet I still miss you. In those bright memoments from my memory, I was the happiest. Missing you brings a smile to my face. What brings a smile to yours?

#26788 I am really depressed I don't really have any real friends that care about me or support me and never had a girlfriend before in my life. I feel that my life is meaningless and no one really cares about me. I am considering joining the military. If I die in battle, at least I would have died for this country and maybe my life would have meant something.
