#26922 Like most women, I hate stereotypical 'nice guys'. You know, the ones that are needy, buy you flowers, put you on a pedestal, and treat you like a princess. But I just can't stop thinking about what they would be like in bed as they are likely to please me more than themselves. A lot of attractive guys don't do that. Any 'nice guy' wants to hookup?

#26921 Is it possible to >completely< get rid of social anxiety? I used to have abnormally high levels of anxiety, but in the last 2 years I have been making a conscious effort to improve it and I have seen a drastic change in myself. I am happier now overall although I am not as social as I'd like to be. But the fear is still there. I have only learned to supress it or act in spite of it. Social situations still make me nervous. I'm pretty sure if I go weeks without socializing at all, then suddenly walking into a room of unfamiliar faces will make me shit in my pants. Although I'm in a lot better situation now and I can see myself getting happier by day, I can't stop thinking about how awesome I would feel when the fear is fully absent.

Anyone who's been in my shoes would like to share their experience? I wish there was a support group for shy people at Purdue.
