#27184 The closest thing I've ever had to a boyfriend is the manager at my neighborhood Dunkin' Donuts. I talk to him every morning. He remembers my name and how I take my coffee. He knows that I'm obsessed with bacon and cheese, and he laughs at all my jokes. I honestly don't think I will ever need a boyfriend since he makes my breakfast everyday.

#27182 @27181 I often think the same thing, specifically among my friends. They constantly claim to have various forms of social disorders, but it's simply hard for me to believe them because of how social they are with each other. Generally, while I debate the severity of their disorders, I also consider if, perhaps, I, myself, may have them. Like my friends, I have essentially all the same problems with school, life, work, etc. Unlike them, however, I do not tell others about them, I simply bottle it up. I think they see me as being strong and think that I am dealing with my problems, and sometimes I agree. But others, I can't help but wonder if I'm sub-consciously bottling them up.

#27181 I have come to realize that social anxiety and introversion are often manifestations of narcissism. For example, don't worry what others are thinking of you, because chances are they're not thinking about you at all. I used to do that replaying the whole night thing in my head too, even weeks or months later. I was the only one thinking about any of that stuff. Not only did no one else remember it, but in a lot of cases they probably forgot I was even there. I was the most important person in the world, in my own mind.
