#27327 To the confessor of #27317, I know what you mean. I do know what it's like to be that kid who stays in the dorm room on the weekends, especially as a freshman I got stuck with the farthest dorm on campus and a roomate two years older than me. There are only so many episodes of Netflix shows you can watch. You must be a very brave and strong person. this was one of the reasons I decided to transfer. Don't get me wrong, Purdue is a great school and there are things that I miss. It just was not for me.

#27326 There seems to be a lot of loneliness at Purdue, and I'd just like to be a shout into the void for y'all. With over 500 (or something nuts) clubs in seriously anything you can think of, with IM sports, with a huge sorority and frat community, with those little red and green cards in all the dining courts, can we all make an effort this year to get involved? Whether that be you really pushing yourself into one of these activities or asking others to join you, let's start making some change people! Be lonely together! College is damn hard enough, a friend or two (who - hey lonely men who watch girls at the gym - might turn into something more) never hurt nobody!
