#27932 Alright gym nuts, I've got a question. I've always been skinny and have finally managed to put on some weight, but it's mostly fat. Now I don't want to lost that weight, but I want to turn that fat into muscle. What kind of regimen should I be following? The only ones I know cause weight loss, which isn't what I'm looking for.

#27931 Coming from someone with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, I completely understand the people who come here asking for help. But at the same time it makes no sense to me. Mental illness is a disease, and yet some people treat it like taking dayquil is just going to fix it. You take all the medicines and see as many therapists as you want, but that's only alleviating the symptoms. These will never, EVER, "fix" what you want them to. I put quotes because I don't believe anything needs fixing. If you want to cure the disease, only your mind and the way you think can actually produce the figurative antibodies to cure this disease. I'm so sick of people coming on here saying that they take medicine, but haven't done anything to evaluate or change what makes them feel that way. No drugs are going to fix your mindset, and until you do that yourself, you're only going to be wasting your time.

#27930 I really feel awful right now. I feel that everything I do is just so far below average, and nothing I do ever changes. I was so happy to get in to this school, but the only results I see from my hard work are failing test scores, 20 points below the average. I just feel like I'm here to make everyone else look better. I guess that's the only thing I've actually done well.

#27929 All you engineering undergrads, I am a Purdue alumnus, recently got my masters and just got hired. I have a genuine job related tip for you, don't waste your time going to these "Expos" and "IR" etc. 99% of the time, they ask you to apply online. Why is that? Because companies don't look at your profile and try to match you to a job position that may fit you. Instead, you need to go and do the research yourself and make a resume that fits exactly what the job description says. So when you find a position online, make sure you use all the keywords mentioned in the "Job Responsibilities/Ideal Qualifications". So if you go to IR, the chances of you landing a job are very low. Try to network more, get to know people personally, maybe shoot an email to an ex-senior you knew and ask him about open positions wherever he works now. I was talking to one of my friends who works at GE, he told me that due to the volume of the applications, sometimes your application doesn't even reach the HR, the job portal tries to match your resume words with their keywords, if there is no good match, it automatically sends you a rejection (which explains why you randomly get a rejection email at midnight or during a weekend). Lastly, try to have someone you have networked with before applying at a certain company because if you can put "Employee referral" in the "How did you hear about us?" section, your application goes straight to the HR. I'm no expert, but over all these years, I learned these tricks and thought it might help some of you. Good luck
TLDR: DON'T GO TO JOB FAIRS

#27928 When I was 19 years old, I was raped. I wasn't dressed provocatively, I wasn't drunk, and I could do nothing to stop it. Now, I suffer from major depression and PTSD. Every time someone makes a joke about rape or whatever, I feel like death because it brings back all the terrible memories. Rape isn't something to joke about. I just wish people would be more compassionate. It would make the healing process so much easier.

#27927 27916:
You're not a monster. It's natural to feel conflicting feelings about crying during sex. Your ex would probably be sad and embarrassed to know it took such an emotional toll and you felt so uncomfortable with her. I bet she would've wanted to help you more with it.
If you want to try consensual non consent play with other partners to induce crying, go slow. Safewords are for both parties, not just the bottom. Take the time to debrief/take a long time for aftercare- discuss what happened, how you both felt, and address ALL concerns. And remember that are not immoral- only actions are. You're not a monster and I love you. If I could do over we'd start from square one and only move on once trust had been established without a doubt and aftercare had been given in excess to both parties. Take care. Consult r/bdsm or fetlife for advice and acceptance.
