#28335 Confession: I think Republicans are fucking stupid.
Why the fuck are you getting so upset with peaceful protesters. You always talk shit about how we are forced to "follow the liberal agenda" well look in the fucking mirror assholes. If you don't stand for the National Anthem, then you're not following the agenda of the Republicans. Just honestly, please, can we all just stop being so butt-hurt. We're all fucking humans. Why can't people respect each other's views (but not be assholes about it).
I don't give a shit about your guns, so why do you give a shit about who I marry?

#28332 I'm a super pregnant student at Purdue, and of course that comes with plenty of side looks and stares from other students as I walk past. I'm totally cool with that and expected such reactions. However, there is this younger male student who sits behind me in one of my classes, and I can say that despite seeing me in class 3 times a week, he stares at my gut so hardcore it's like he's never seen a pregnant lady before. Everyone in all of my classes have chilled with intense stares, but this guy...it kinda freaks me out. Every time I see him, whether it's walking around in class, coming in to sit down, to even finding my seat in Elliot for our exam, his eyes are on my belly. I am not one to care much about what others think or say, and odd stares have never gotten to be before. But I think since we are mid semester at this point, and this guy still doesn't even take the consideration to look away when I look at him, it's like...I'm ready to flip a desk on this kid. I just, I don't get it. I'm pregnant, a junior, yet slaying this semester like it ain't no ones business...what the what, dude?

#28331 I watched the Nightmare on Elm Street marathon last night on Syfy. This guy Freddie Krueger was pretty funny. Lots of one liners. Could have possibly had a long career in standup comedy.

#28330 I paid for tinder gold and to further add to the confession I think tinder gold should only be abailbe for guys as tinder is heavily in favor of the women. Im a guy and it just simplifies it all so much more by just seeing who has liked me. Guys are a dime a hundred. Women get way more (probably 80% like rate, just a guess but an educated one) likes so the main benefit is nullified for women where as for men we are able to match with those we already know we will get a natch with.
Am I being sexist (rhetorical question)? Not intentionally though I can see where one might think I am. Online dating is heavily in favor of women, this just levels the field for the guys. The vast majority of the time its the men that have to take the first step, ask for the first date, and in online dating, send the first message. This just saves us a lot of energy and effort. In a perfect society women would take the initiative at the same rate as men but they dont. Yes that is slowly changing but generally this is still the case. I dont want the woman I am pursuing to play hard to get. I want her to be upfront with me, communicate with me. I dont have the time, energy, or patience to be strung along for weeks just to find out shes not interested. Yes I am aware men do this too.
We need to quit being dicks to each other. Just communicate and be upfront. The longer it takes to say something to the other about the (potential) relationship the more painful the end result will be. Im not saying rush into it, just once you are sure about something, tell them. Even if it doesnt go your way you will save yourself a lot of grief and heartache. Just treat like a bandaid. Just get over with as soon as you are sure about something and need to tell the other person.

#28329 It really bothers me that people are so quick to point out spelling and grammar mistakes. I'm a fourth year English student and I still do it and so do my teachers. I also have a friend who learned English just to come to Purdue, so if he accidentally spells thoroughly as thourly, do we really need to go on a grammar witch hunt or can we accept what they meant to say and move on?

#28328 I have cried almost everyday, since the semester started and I don't even know why. I graduate next fall and I still have almost no idea what the hell I want to do or where the hell I want to do it. It feels like my life is suppose to begin but I feel like I am still the same person since I started college. I mean yeah I am smarter but I have the same social circle (safe for one friend), public speaking still terrifies me and still no real meaningful relationship(I went on a few dates here and there, I just obviously have horrible taste in women). I don't know what to do about all this and it fucking sucks.

#28327 Told a girl she was too high maintenance asking me to buy her designer bags. I'm a full time college student with a PART TIME JOB. She said that I couldn't handle her. So I told her I didn't want to.
