#28453 I have an inherent problem with the #MeToo trend going on. Apparently it can represent either assault or harrasment. There is a huge difference. Sexual assault is rape. And that is unquestionably sick and disgusting and anyone who has been assaulted has all the merit in posting. I hope whoever assaulted you rots in jail. But sexual harrasment is a very loose term. People can consider whatever they want to really as sexual harrasment because it can encompass both verbal and physical advances. Now here's my problem. Verbally, anyone and can claim anything. The number of people assaulted is miniscule compared to the number of #MeToos I'm seeing. Almost every female friend I have on Facebook has posted it. Which is completely blown out of proportion. Can you imagine if so many girls has actually been raped? It would be a national crysis. But instead people are just trying to grab sympathy. The hashtag doesn't have any specifics as to if a person has been harrased or assaulted and in no way are those 2 the same severity. If a man says "hey you're looking beautiful" to someone, that could be valid for a sexual harrasment claim. They are not the same. And the problem IS NOT as bad as people are trying to make it.

Her execuse is that “she is too overwhelmed and that she is not ready for a relationship in this stage of her life”. She told me that she doesn’t feel good because “friends shouldn’t date”. However, she told me recently that she likes our third friend!! And that started less than a week after our break up!
I am pissed but she told me that I am ruining our friendship because I am pissed!

#28448 Is it weird for me to avoid social media that people actually use like snapchat and instagram because they make me feel awful? Purely off of comparisons of my own life to what people share, like going out, dates, casual hangouts, whatever. I get that it's a skewed representation of reality but I've avoided those apps for a while now and it almost always leaves me in an awkward situation where I have to justify not having one when someone asks.
