#28677 I have social anxiety. But after some therapy sessions and medication, I have started to approach new people and talk to them. The easiest place I have found to do that is the classroom. But whenever I talk to someone new, I find myself hitting a wall after a certain amount of time. All I do is ask the other person what they study, how do they find the classes, how their day was, etc. But I don't know what else I can talk about, and struggle with finding topics to talk about. I enjoy watching TV shows and animes, and exercising, talking about philosophy, psychology and astronomy but I have found that most people do not enjoy talking about such things. Even if I do connect with someone, I am never able to hang out with them outside the class. Do you have any suggestions about where to meet new people, what to talk about, and how to move a friendship to outside a classroom?
